In case you didn't know, I create all of my designs in a 3-D modeling program called Google SketchUp. I build everything to scale and I am able to customize anything I want: size, color, texture, lighting, etc.

This software allows me to be a Virtual Designer, providing 3-D renderings of clients' homes and links to shop it. For more information, visit Calhoun Interiors ! 

Google SketchUp is free to get (SketchUp Make, not Pro) and they offer a ton of tutorial videos to help you get started :)

This is how it looks in SketchUp BEFORE a render, not as pretty right? 

But when you add some lighting, create some shadows, and *render* it through a plug in, it looks amazing!

I use the plug in Twilight to render all of my files. It does cost, but it's worth it!
